Ready for the future, Novosan continues to focus on development, sustainability, and growth—without losing the strengths that define us: personality, quality, and flexibility. From our 4,000 m² production facility in Waddinxveen, we serve customers all over the world with an ever-expanding product range for professional, industrial, and consumer markets. A young and motivated team works closely together with the owners who have led the company since 1996, creating a powerful balance between experience and fresh ideas. Returning to the roots - 2003

As Novosan continued to grow, the need for additional space became clear once again. In 2003, the company relocated to a larger facility, returning to its roots in Waddinxveen. This move marked an important milestone, combining expansion with a renewed connection to the town where the company’s story first began.

Growing together - 1996

In 1996, the production company Novosan was acquired from Mr. Bierma by two young entrepreneurs. Both remain actively involved in the company to this day. By that time, the business had already relocated to Montfoort, moving into a larger facility to support further growth. In the first three years following the acquisition, Novosan’s turnover doubled. Alongside this rapid expansion, a positive and enjoyable working environment was always considered essential, with room for teamwork, fun, and engagement. Throughout this period of growth, the company’s goal remained unchanged: delivering high-quality products to customers around the world.

The beginning - 1968

Founded in 1968, our company has its roots in the town of Waddinxveen. It was originally established as a supplier for Rhowax, a trading company owned by Mr. Bierma, who also founded Novosan. From these beginnings, the company grew steadily, building on strong partnerships, entrepreneurial spirit, and a solid foundation of trust and craftsmanship.

Our company

NOVOSAN is located in Waddinxveen, The Netherlands, where we have the disposal of a more than 4.000 m2 production facility. The basis of NOVOSAN began more than 45 years ago with the invention of the impregnated dust-cloths. For the production of these items a production unit was established. Due to the success of the product, the production facility had to be enlarged a few times, until we moved in to our present location in 2003.

The product-range of NOVOSAN is increasing constantly and these products are being supplied to customers all over the world. Besides being producer of impregnated- and static dust-cloths, NOVOSAN has also grown into being the leading specialist in all kind of professional cleaning cloths, such as microfiber cloths. NOVOSAN has the right products for the professional and industrial market, as well as for the consumer market. Key words for NOVOSAN are customer orientated thinking, personal service and flexibility.

Thanks to our many years of experience and familiarity with the market, we are able to respond rapidly to changing requirements and new working methods. Our customers can expect from us that their orders are tailor-made to their individual specifications. Business relations with our customers are always aimed for the long-term and often exist for decades. Personal service is just as much an essential characteristic of NOVOSAN as the quality of our products.

We continuously search for innovative, more sustainable materials to improve our product line. In our production process we actively separate waste streams and work to reduce overall waste. By making conscious choices, we ensure our products contribute to a circular economy.

Since 2023, our company has been fully powered by self-generated solar energy. By producing with clean, renewable energy, we significantly reduce our environmental footprint. Every improvement in energy efficiency brings us one step closer to a low-carbon future.
